"Hi there! I'm Amy Wallace on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to be discussing how to be a good movie critic or more importantly, how to start out as a movie critic with a budget. The final thing that we are going to want to discuss is how to get yourself out there as a movie critic. I don't think anyone of us in tended when we started watching or making these videos to basically squirrel away our little ideas on what we thought would make a good critic. So I am going to mention a couple of things that are a good way to get out there as an amateur. The first and this is for the technically more savvy out there, is you can do your critic critiques via a web cast or a broadcast really and what this is an audio file that can be downloaded and listened to on somebody's IPOD. They are really cool and they are a really great way to get out there. An audio critic is always nice because you can get the little you wants and oohs and aahs of your review, so they are nice. Another way that you can get on there online is they are absolutely free other than your Internet bills at the end of the month. It is completely free and it is called blogging. Now you've probably encountered this before and basically what it is, is an on-line journal that you can have an update as often as you like and anybody has access to it. Blogging can be a little bit discouraging at times or seem a little bit discouraging because first of all it won't feel like anybody is reading your blog. If you keep blogging, they will come. Just make sure you are blogging as often as possible. Even if you are not critiquing movies, make a blog about them and then you can have your critiques in there as well. List the things that you want to see that are coming out, that sort of thing. It is a really nice little tool and it is good because it lets you keep your notes on-line as well. If you are a little bit more in tune with your computer than you are with your notebook. Another way is through a printed media called a zing. Now a zing is really good because it is something you made yourself, you can distribute yourself and make it yourself and there is no real rules of what make a zing. Basically you write up what you think is going to go into it and you can, in terms of style you can do whatever you want with it. If you are interested in a zing, if you just go to any search engine and type in how to make a zing, there are a lot of people that will help you out. It is a really warm community to get into and there are a zings on every topic known to man. So if you want add a film a zing to that, I am sure everybody will welcome you with warm arms. "
