ANGELA FRACASSO: This is Angela from ExpertVillage.com. In this segment, I'm just going to touch base a little bit more on brushes. In the beginning of this segment, I've had mentioned how with acrylics you can use just the acrylic brushes. You don't need to use expensive brushes. Oil paints, you usually need to use like a natural hairbrush. They're a lot harder to maintain. Acrylic brushes are--when I do my coat paintings, I can use a cheaper acrylic brush but it's also-when the brush is no good, I throw it away and get another one because I'm not spending too much money on my brushes, anyways. And then you just want to use the fatter, flat-head brushes to cover space or to color solid. And then for like me, as I'm highlighting right now, I'm using just this thin, round-tip brush. So it's kinda just depends on what technique you're doing to what kind of brush you'd rather use. I really like to use these smaller brushes when I'm doing really small highlights, kind of like this post. And of course, it is a children's mural so it doesn't need to be absolutely perfect, and it's not going to get that way because human hands can make them too perfect.
