"ANGELA FRACASSO: Hi, I'm Angela with ExpertVillage.com. And in this segment, I'm talking about mixing the right color of paint and then starting on the wall with my background color. So what I've done is I've taken a little bit of blue and white. I've mixed them together and this is actually just a craft acrylic paint. You can use any kind of acrylics on the wall as long as--if you use craft paints, you need to make sure that you put a sealer on them because they won't--they can scrub right off of the wall. So what I'm going to start with is I have just a small chip brush, and these are really good for kinda drybrushing a little bit onto the wall. I don't want very much paint on so I got a little bit of paint and then I'm rubbing it off on the plate because I'm going to kinda do a sky but I want it to be kind of a fadeout. It's not going to cover the entire wall. So I'm going to just start brushing it on very, very thinly. It doesn't need to be solid. And this is the edge of my sort of mountain area and so I'm just starting from there and then I'm working out and kinda fading it out as I go out a little bit. And you get it too thick somewhere, you can put a little bit of water or a medium on your brush and then go over it. Acrylic does dry really fast so you need to make sure that you go over it pretty fast on the wall before it dries. That's the one trick with acrylics is they dry really, really fast."
