"Hi! I’m Angela Sage Larsen. Today, we’re going to talk about publishing your own children’s story. Please visit my web site at petalwinkthefairy.com. Since you’re the publisher of your story, it’s important to determine which printing option best suits your story. The timeline for having your book printed is another thing to think about. We wanted our book out by Christmas time, and so when we went with traditional publishing route, the traditional printer, we were able to have a little bit more flexibility of how quickly it would be printed. Another thing to remember was how quickly they could be reordered. Once they have the files, we can go back at anytime and have them print out more. That’s also the advantage of having an online printer is that as soon as your book is ready to go, you can order them, as you need them and have them as soon as they are shipped to your house. Availability is another option to consider. If the printer is booked up through the Christmas season or there is a busy time of year, you might have to wait in line, whereas the print on demand, you can have it print it out and sent to your house as soon as you order it."
