"Hello! I am Annie Brunson on behalf of Expert Village. Today we’re going to actually play a melody. We’re going to read the music and then translate that on to the piano. Let’s look at the first line of “Mary had a little lamb.” Now you probably already know the tune. But let’s look. It starts on the letter E and look how it goes down. From a line to a space, to a line to a space back up to a line. We’ve just walked and now we are going from E down to 1, to a space. Now look at this next jump. It’s line to line. It’s a third. It’s actually a minor third. So practice this all the way through. "
