"Hi I'm Aaron De Azevedo and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to teach you a little bit about the guitar, the strings, their names, what all these gadgets are. So we'll start here. These are our strings. This is sometimes called string number six or E. This is string number five, four, three, two, one. Now the names of these strings are low E, then we have an A, a D, G, B, and an E, a high E. Now these metal lines right here are called frets. As you go up, the pitch of the string gets higher as you can hear that. As you play you want your fingers right in between the frets, not right on the metal, or else you'll get a kind of dull sound, but right in between it."
