And right off the bat I am playing a steel string acoustic guitar. Now there are two types; acoustic steel string and a classical acoustic nylon string. I am playing this one on my right thigh like this. Now with nylon string classical guitar, you are going to play with a guitar in between your legs and usually a classical player will have kind of a foot rest to keep their foot kind of up and propped up. That is just to make the method a little easier and that is the main difference between the two. So today I will be going over the differences in picking techniques, tuning techniques, I will go over how to string and de-string a guitar and just the general maintenance with your acoustic guitar.
