"Hi! This is Adam Anderson on behalf of Expert Village and I am going to talk to you about maintaining your pedal board. To maintain your pedal board you want to make sure that all of your cables are fairly new. You don't want to have the same old cables night in and night out, because like I said before, they are prone to be damaged because of the way they are twisting around the pedals. So once every couple of months, just pop into your guitar shop and get a couple of cables. It doesn't have to be the top of the line cables but as long as they are new and functioning, they should work well for your pedal board. Again, every couple of months what you might want to do using a pedal board, you might want to take all the pedals off the actual board and maybe just give it a good cleaning. Given that, it is on the floor, there is a lot of stuff that can get in between the actual pedals and a lot of stuff that gets in the individual nooks and crannies of the board, so you maybe want to vacuum all that stuff out so it doesn't get in the input and output jacks of the pedals just to make sure everything is functioning correctly so it doesn't look like a mess on the floor. So it is very important to keep your pedal board maintained and cleaned because it is a vital part of your overall guitar rig. Your whole guitar signal is passing through each one of these individual pedals, so you want to make sure that each one of these pedals is functioning to their optimum performance. You want to make sure that everything is clean, all the pots are nice and clean so when you are adjusting the individual levels you don't hear that scratchy sound. You want to make sure that you seal all the individual different components of the pedal so you can get the best performance out of them. "
