"Hi! This is Adam Anderson on behalf of Expert Village. I am going to talk to you about noise suppressors on your pedal boards. The noise suppressor or the noise gait actually acts as a filter for your signal that goes through this pedal. It acts as a filter based on the amount of gain that is going through the pedal. You can set it to sort of shut off your guitar signal based on the amount of volume you want going through. So if you have a very heavy distorted metal type of sound and you play very stataco type guitar parts, it can shut off between your individual chords so you don't have that heavy distortion gain heavy feedback noise between each of the chords that you are playing. I highly recommend this pedal because it cleans up your guitar sound and you can actually set it. If you press the pedal down, it can meet your signal entirely for tuning purposes or in between songs so the crowd doesn't have to hear your feedback guitar amp. "
