"Now a good way to check your own individual stick height or even as a drumlin is to look into a mirror. So instead of getting into the habit of looking down all the time at your bead which you are not going to want to do is to look straight forward and you can really see in the mirror where you are playing. Like if I want to play 3 inches I realize that is a little high by looking in the mirror and I can take it down a little bit. Now if you got a large enough mirror this one is, if you put this on horizontally you can see all the sticks for may 3 or 4 guys and you can really match your heights not only to your self but to the other players. But for your sticks you are also going to want to make sure that from stick to stick that your height is consistent you want to make sure that is I was playing 16 notes that may left stick isn't higher then my right when I'm trying to play 1 dynamic.
