"Auto play mode is a mode for playback of images that will automatically play all of the images, in sequence, that you've taken and shot, on your memory card. It's useful for, it's kind of like a slide show. It's useful for displaying your work, without actually having to pull it off of your camera. What you can do, also, is hook up your camera to a larger screen for viewing. But in our case, we're just going to play back the images automatically on our 40D. To get to this option, you need to press the menu button, which is in the top left corner of your camera. Go ahead and press "menu". And, I'm going to scroll over here to the second playback menu. It's a blue, it's got a blue icon up here at the top of the triangle pointing to your right, and there will be two dots in the upper right hand corner. Once I'm on that menu, I can scroll down with my quick control dial to auto play. Auto play is highlighted with a blue rectangle, and I'm just going to press "set". Now auto play is loading. It should begin playing my images for a couple of seconds at a time, and then switching to the next image in that sequence. And you can see that it's actually rotating through the images sequentially. I've got 26 images, and I'm playing number 14, now number 15, and number 16. And, to pause this, I'm going to press "set". The playback mode will just be paused. That image will continue to be displayed. But, if I want to exit from the auto play mode, image mode, I just need to press "menu" again up here on the top left of your body. Go ahead and press "menu", and that takes you all the way back to the menu. And you can navigate to a different option in your menu or exit completely."
