"Now we are going to talk a little bit about the personality and the characteristics of the birthday guy or gal. Couple of the things that you want to talk about. First, what do others say about this person. If you don't know, ask them and you can give direct quotes. So-and-so daughter said, "Miss Jenny was the best teacher she ever had in her whole life". "She is the kindest most generous person we have at the church". Talk about those trades that you believe and you find in this person, as well as what others find in them as well. In this section, there is a couple of other things that you might want to talk about. Any special talents. Do they play a musical instrument; are they a great singer; are they wonderful at math; whatever they have that might be a special talent, you can talk about that. You can also talk about hobbies. What is it that they do; what is it that they enjoy doing, you know, "Steve rides that bike fifteen miles every Sunday come rain, snow, sleet or hail". You might briefly mention those. And then last in this section, you can talk about passions. What is it that this person loves. This person loves helping others; this person loves cats; this person loves music, whatever it is. But you know, if they have any of these three things, which most people do, you can talk about them at this point in the speech."
