"Hi. I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to add some festive decorations to your Thanksgiving day. The last group of decorations, we're going to cover, is what I call the tidbits. These are very small. They're usually a design to kind of put the accents or the finishing touches on your overall decorations. So what exactly are tidbits anyway? Like I was saying, they're the accent. For example, you can always get a bunch of little plastic or actual leaves. I've seen people scatter these all over their tablecloths. I've seen them put them in Thanksgiving cards for people to people to look at. I've also seen fall themed potpourri which is essentially close to this except it's actually organic and often times you have more of a kind of burning ember so it will release out some nice aromas and scents throughout your home. These are like something a little extra to put on top. This is the cherry on top of the sundae. Another example of what I call tidbits are kind of food accent garnishes, toothpicks in the like. These, of course, are not just toothpicks. They have cool little maple leaves on the end, a nice little fall theme. So with just with your bread - it's not just cornbread anymore cut up. It's like, oooh isn't this nice; something to help people snack. Lets face it; around Thanksgiving toothpicks are something that's really nice to have. These are some additional ideas. Be creative. Every single year I see somebody do something I have never heard of before which looks really cool. I was at a party two years ago, Thanksgiving dinner, and I saw these toothpicks for the first time ever. I'm like, isn't that just a nice little extra touch on top of the food as opposed to just having a snack tray out there for the guest."
