"Hi. I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to add some festive decorations to your Thanksgiving day. Like any holiday or observance, do not underestimate the power of knick knacks. Knick knacks are really great. Basically they're the flare in your holiday like the caffeine in your coffee for your decorations. They come in all various sizes and shapes and often time functions. Most assume they have no function at all. Take, for example, these little guys right here. We have a little mini cornucopia stuffed with a whole bunch of yummy treats - pumpkins, grapes and other fruits. Then we also have a little turkey who maybe is trying to push the fruit so that he is not going to be on the dinner table. Now these guys have a variety of purposes. They are magnets. They also have little clasps on the back which means you can attach them to things. I was at a party last year where somebody actually had this attached around their glass rim. So you have your glass flare, or these guys can be on the refrigerator. I've seen them on bookshelves. I've also seen other knick knack functions you can have outside of magnets and glass flare. You can have bookends. You can have aprons. Basically anything that serves a function in your house. Often times they'll have like a holiday theme related to it. You have to set your own boundaries. We all the people that way overboard with something like this. Definitely knick knacks can provide a nice little flare kind of rounding out your larger decorations."
