"MATT CAIL: Hi, I'm Matt Cail. And on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to be providing you with tips to make your travel a lot easier this holiday season. Another thing to consider on your Thanksgiving travels are what to do with any pets you might leave behind. So you need to make sure they're adequately cared for. Also maybe some place you're going has pets. If that's the case, keep in mind if you have things like allergies and the like, maybe stack up on antihistamine there in case. But the more important thing is just to make sure that your animals aren't left behind. Make sure there's plenty of food out for them. If they're doggies and are more high maintenance, see if there any kennel options. I mean you could be gone for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday at the least. I mean maybe you're only gone a couple of days but even a couple of days for a doggie maybe a little couple of days too long. So make sure that you also watch out for your pets and be thankful for your pets this holiday season too. And keep in mind whatever you're going to be doing for travel accommodations for your pet. The last thing to keep in mind is all the various strategies and steps you've thought about. You may actually think of, you know, kind of go out the window as soon as you get to your destination, they don't. You want to make sure that also whenever you're coming back from your Thanksgiving destination back home that you follow the same plans. Get to the airport early, plan ahead, allow yourself lots of time, keep an eye out on the weather, you do everything the same way except just in reverse, since you'll be going to your--from your destination right back home and hopefully back to some puppy love.
