"I'm going to be providing you with tips to make your travel a lot easier this holiday season. Traveling home for Thanksgiving promises to be a crazy time for you, which is why this plan is going to come in handy in saving you stress and aggravation when your brain is going to be going in a million different directions just trying to get from point A to point B. Something that can really help you is putting together a schedule of your day, kind of where you expect to be when. I mean, these are--sometimes, there's the old saying about the best-laid plans, but this is a good plan to write down. Also, I know people who have basically taught, oh well, I'm supposed to be landing at that time and then I'll be able to get to the car rental by this time. Once they actually go through this exercise or seeing where they expect to be when, they find out that their arrival time maybe later or even earlier than they had planned, and they can actually let people know. The important thing to keep in mind here is understanding how your different travel modes intersect. What happens if your flight is late? How is that going to impact the rest of your day? Car rental, know the hours of operation, so if you land a couple of hours late, hopefully, they're still open. Most car-rental places have very long hours, especially at the airports, so you should be okay. Either which way, definitely go through this scheduling exercise, think about how your travel modes intersect and keeping backup plans right around in your mind there just in case, so that you kinda know what happens when you go to plan B and when you're ultimately going to get to your destination if you have to do that."
