"Hello my name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to be talking about how to decorate for Christmas. In this clip let's talk about decorating for the holidays season with real flowers. Now some of the more traditional flowers are of course one mistletoe that many people like to put in there hallways. In overhanging doorways and such but the most popular Christmas decorating plant would have to be the poinsettia's. Poinsettia's come in all different colors whether it would be traditional red and green or traditional there is pink. There is cream ivory color as well. But a traditional poinsettia a great gift to give to people and you can have many poinsettias around your house and they just fill parts of your home. They also make it very warm as well. Good thing to remember with real flowers is do not put them near heat, they make wonderful places to decorate around the Christmas tree. By your tree whether it would be on a desk or in your entrance way around the front door way leading sort of a path in towards you. You can have one or you can have many you really can not go wrong when it comes to real flowers. Especially the poinsettias just make sure you don't keep them near any heat."
