How to Use Permanent Fixtures to Decorate for Christmas

"Hello my name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to be talking about how to decorate for Christmas. In this clip let's talk about decorating a few permanent elements each year. By that I mean taking a few key elements that you absolutely love for the holiday season and decorating around them. For instance, each year we put up this father Christmas he may change position but we use them in sort of a staple in our home. Decorating as I mention for the holiday season in other clips it can be costly. It is time consuming and it is only you know usually for about one month of the year. So you have to think about you holiday decorating but each year you might change your mind you may have a different thought. If you have a few key permanent elements that you work around and makes your job a little bit easier. Also not only inside with the items but your outside decorating as well. So you may have for instance let's say I have a couple of yearns and I do the same thing with them each year. They are going to change things around just slightly so we do have. So you may have just a few wreaths that you put on the door each year or by your garage or something. But if you stick with a few staples and work around them it makes your job that much easier. "
