"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we are going to be talking about how to decorate for Christmas. In this clip, let's talk about using generic winter icons by this I mean not your Christmas icons but I mean winter icons. So instead of using things like nut crackers or Santa Clause or stockings not to decorate, by winter icons mean things like snow flakes, snowman, things that you can keep up after the holiday season that represents the season of winter. So when perhaps you are doing your holiday decorating, you can put these items up a bit earlier before your Christmas decorations and also leave them up or take them down a little bit later than your Christmas decorations as well. It still keeps your house decorated, feeling like winter, feeling festive but not necessarily having Santa Clause or all of the things that represent Christmas up. Just again using winter icons, you have a little bit more longevity with them. You can put them up a little bit earlier and take them down a little bit later on as well. "
