"In this clip, let's talk about what I call mixing and matching or avoiding mixing and matching. What I mean by that is for instance, I have a ceramic nativity scene. You would never take a ceramic nativity scene, decorate a table and put something like this wooden piece of caroler's here, this wooden piece that is made, you wouldn't put that right beside it. It just doesn't look good. It doesn't match. But when I say avoid mixing and matching, you don't want to do just that. Avoid putting something like this next say with a ceramic nativity scene. Another example might be you take a nativity scene but you have different types or parts of a nativity scene that are from a different set. You would never want to mix and match. It just doesn't look appealing, it doesn't look attractive and it doesn't match. So one thing to avoid with your decorating is to avoid the mixing and matching. Pick one thing and go with it even if you don't have a full set. Pick what you've got and work with that instead of putting it all together in a sort of a mix match."
