"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we are going to be talking about how to decorate fgor Christmas. In this clip, let's talk about what I call finishing the job. By that I mean having a polished look to your decorating. I know it sounds simple but sometimes people get either start with decorating and either you don't get around to finishing it or you start it and you just don't finish it. So again, having that polished look especially if you are going to be having guests over to the house this upcoming holiday season. You want to have that polished finished look. If you are decorating your mantel, you don't want just half of the mantel decorated, you want the whole mantel decorated. If you are decorating your tree, go the to full mile and decorate it with elegant and gusto. So again, you have to also think that sometimes I said in an earlier segment, time is less than more. Keeping it simple sometimes is more elegant and easier to clean up after and not the big part of it as well. Holiday season is usually around a month or for a little bit more than a month. We have to put those decorations away at the end of the holiday season so how much work do you want to have for yourself and how many decorations are you going to put up because to think about it is (a) have the space to store them for the rest of the 11 months of the year and you need the time to put this stuff away as well."
