"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we are going to be talking about how to decorate for Christmas. In this clip, let's talk about balancing your Christmas decorations around your house. So I'm sure you've seen the movie Christmas Vacation, don't be like the Griswalds and put decorations everywhere. What we are talking more about is to avoid clutter. Sometimes less is more, keeping things simple but keeping things also within your budget. So also we don't just take and say all of your Christmas decorations putting them simply just into one part of the house. Let's say you've got your Christmas tree in your dining room or family room or living room and only decorated that one room. Spread some of those decorations around the entrance way. You might have special a candle that you might want to have in the bathroom so that when you have guest coming, they've got something nice to look at or there are nice hand towels in there. The kitchen might have a nice candle or a nice centerpiece on the dining room or kitchen table, so take your Christmas decorations and it's not about again, buying all kinds of decorations but adding to the collection over time and spreading things around your house. Avoiding clutter and keeping things simple and also, keeping things within your budget. "
