How to Buy Christmas Decorations

"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, we are going to be talking about how to decorate for Christmas. In this clip, let's talk about buying your Christmas decorations. Now you've probably seen the movie Christmas Vacation. You don't want to be a Griswald. You don't want to have Christmas decorations everywhere and you don't necessarily have to buy your decorations all at once especially if you are starting out or purchased a new home. You don't have to have necessarily a house full of Christmas decorations each year; add to your collection. Especially Christmas is seasonal. It is only for you know decorations usually for one month of the year. So you can't be splurging and putting all of your money into towards Christmas decorations. It is something that comes with time and age and money. So it is definitely something that will add over time and you will see your collection add over time. It will grow and become more beautiful and elegant. So when decorating with Christmas, you don't have to get carried away. It is best to have less than more to have those really beautiful objects, the angels that you know those really important pieces that means something to you rather than going on out and putting up decorations everywhere just because it is Christmas and you want to decorate. Instead of thinking perhaps the Griswalds and putting your decorations all over the place and putting it up with lots of color, choose wisely and be simple about your decorating. Sometimes less is really more. "
