"Hello! My name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we are going to be talking about how to decorate for Christmas. In our first clip, let's talk about the timing of putting up our holiday decorations. Now, at a kit wise, we would say normally not to put up your Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving holiday. So not before Halloween, not before Thanksgiving, usually after Thanksgiving and taking Christmas decorations down no later than January 6th. Many people take them down right around New Years or at the tail end of December but usually around New Year's and no later than January 6th. So not before Thanksgiving even though I know stores put up a lot of their holiday decorations a bit earlier. We've seen them in stores even as early as Halloween now. But for you and your family and your home, it is recommended not to put them up any earlier than Thanksgiving. Most people end of November, the majority of people beginning of December. "
