"Hello, my name’s Melissa and on behalf of Expert Village today I’m going to teach you a couple of different ways to make the perfect cup of hot apple cider. So in this clip we’re going to start putting the steps together to prepare this. Now I want you to pretend you’re having a guest or guests over for uh, instead of coffee, they’re going to have hot apple cider. So we’re not microwaving it any longer, we’re preparing it for larger groups of people. So a couple of different ways you can do this, you can either prepare it on the stove, uh in a pot, any regular pot and you’re going to heat it up to where it boils or you can also use a crock-pot. A crock-pot is a great way to prepare the hot apple cider, leave it for six to eight hours and your house will smell heavenly, it’ll smell like you’ve been baking. Now what I like to do, in case you’re having just a couple of people over your good old trusty coffee maker. Um, I don’t use it so much for coffee, I don’t drink coffee so what I tend to do is, I use my coffee maker for making hot, things like hot apple cider, it’s a great way to instead of, kind of like a crock-pot, same sort of premise really, you’re keeping it heated from the bottom and this constant heat is allowing everything inside it to infuse, but what we’re going to do in upcoming clips is combine all of this together and start heating things up.
