"Hello my name's Melissa and on behalf of Expert Village today I’m going to teach you a couple of different ways to make the perfect cup of hot apple cider. All right, so the microwave is on for three minutes, while the hot apple cider is cooking and infusing with the cloves and the cinnamon we’ve got, we’re spicing this up remember, so we’ve got our orange sliced, you want to make slices, I like it nice and thick though and cut your slice then in half so it’ll look something like this of course. Now you can take your cloves and you can decorate your orange slice. What it’s going to do is add more flavor, but you can also decorate it slightly. So what I like to do for the flavor is put a couple of cloves at the bottom where you’ll going to actually put your orange slice into the hot apple cider but if you want to decorate it up a little bit, especially for guests or such you can also take a whole bunch of them and actually kind of make them like spokes and stick them right in the orange rind. So you can add sort of like a little design there if you desired. But what then you want to do is take your mug and drop your orange rind into the mug and this is going to infuse lots of flavors so you can either drop it right in or what I like to do too, is to put a little cut into the orange and then of course have it sort of dangling over the edge, either like this or you can have it, you can break it up a little bit and have it in there a little bit more. And the orange rind you’ll notice will add just a little bit of a hint of slightly different flavors as well, so the microwave just went off so I’m going to go grab that, and then in our next clip we’ll put it all together, we’ll drop that in there and I’ll teach you how to garnish it and how to jazz it up just a little bit at the end for your friends, for you or perhaps a upcoming Halloween party.
