Shopping Second Hand for Christmas Gifts

"Hello my name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village today we're going to be talking about how to cut down on holiday spending. In this clip, when we're thinking about our holiday spending and how to cut back a little bit, you might want to think about shopping second hand. A lot of people love going to garage sales. There are so many treasures at various garage sales, yard sales, the second hand thrift stores, you never know what sort of treasure's you're going to find there. So depending on what you want to buy for the certain somebody in your life, and you've got a little bit extra time, if you give yourself more time instead of waiting till the last minute to go in search of these gift items. You can sometimes save yourself a lot of money, and it can be a lot of fun in the long run as well. You'll probably find something for yourself in doing this too, but over the course of, if you give yourself a couple of months, especially in the earlier clips, we were talking about starting you know, in October, November, and then into December. If you give yourself a couple of extra months and you can go out to those thrift stores, you never know what treasures you're going to find. "
