"Hello, my name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village today we're gonna be talking about how to elegantly decorate your Christmas tree. In our first clip, let's talk about choosing the tree itself. Couple of things to think about of course, do you want an artificial tree or do you want to use a real tree. The tree behind me that we have here is a Frasier Fur. Now this Frasier Fur runs about 7 1/2 feet and what what I love about the Frasiers are that when you are decorating the tree the needles are so soft, they don't hurt your fingers at all. So many different types of trees of course to choose from though, there is the Ibiscom the Scotch Pines, Douglas Fur. So, you might want to go with the real tree, elegant is entirely up to you or there's some beautiful artificial trees out there as well. Now, you have to think about placement of your tree. Where is your tree going to go in your house? That will have a bit of a decision that will help you make your decision slightly rather you're going to go artificial or real because if you're putting it close to the fire place where you don't want to have a real tree by the fire place because it's not going to last and it's going to lose its needles pretty fast. Also, you have to think about height. How tall of a tree are you going to use? So, I as mentioned this one is about 7 1/2 feet. How high are your ceilings? So, you can't go and cut down a great big tree and expect to put it in an area with smaller or lower ceilings. So, first go out there and choose the tree that is right for you and right for the room that you are going to put it in. "
