"Hi, this is Shana Bethune on behalf of Expert Village and I'm going to talk to you about basic makeup for your George W. Bush costume. Now, you're going to be doing a little bit more detailed makeup afterwards. But before you do that there's a few basic things you need to do to prepare. First of all you're going to need to put on some foundation so that the makeup you put on later will stay down correctly. Also if you're female, now is a good time to wash off any other makeup you have and also to add some stubble. Guys probably don't have a problem with this, it's already obvious that you have a beard of some sort. But for a woman, having a little bit of fake stubble, can make a really big difference. If you're trying to convince people that you're male, this is probably the best way to do it. You're going to want to get some makeup that's relatively pale. In this picture at least, George Bush is kind of pink, pretty white, almost pink. So if you're not naturally that color, get something that's really, really fair. If you are naturally that color, then it's not quiet as important, but you're still going to want to put on some makeup so that everything else stays in place. Cheap makeup from a pharmacy will work just fine, just get normal foundation that women use in the lightest possible shade you can find. Costume makeup or stage makeup can work as well except it's a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker. So it'll look like you're actually wearing makeup whereas a lot of makeup made for women, are made to look like you're not actually wearing makeup, so this is probably a better choice."
