People love the idea of an Easter Sunday afternoon filled with fun and family. Whether it’s a celebration of resurrection, or just a time to gather together, watch television and hunt for candy-filled Easter eggs, the holiday gives us all another opportunity to reconnect with loved ones and spend the day relaxing. Easter is especially important for kids; it’s one of the four major holidays where they get to collect handfuls of candy and eat them at will. But aside from chocolate, foil wrappers, and sugar comas, Easter gives parents a chance to spend quality time with their kids. One way to do that is to do Easter-themed craft projects. In this free video series, learn steps for making several easy kids Easter crafts, including a paper plate and a paper sack bunny, a bunny ears headband… and the all important Easter egg itself, which is explained in detail, over several videos. Our expert gives step-by-step instructions for all crafts, including materials needed.
"In this clip you’ll see how to make a bunny using a paper plate. The materials are: a stapler or glue, makers, scissors, paper plate and a piece of construction paper for the ears. The first step is to fold your paper in half for the ears, this way they’ll be the same size. You’re going to make kind of an oval shape. Make them long, cause bunnies have the long ears. If you don’t like them you can always try again, seeing how fat or skinny they are once you put them on your paper plate. Next you’re going to cut them out, you’re going to take your paper plate and flip it over and then you’re going to put your ears at the top, you can either staple them or glue them however you’d like. I’m going to staple them so they’ll stay better, and once again decide if they look good, if not go ahead and try to make new ones."
