"I'm Stephanie Barnett and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to show you what to bring to your next office Christmas party, something savory and something sweet. We've creamed our butter and sugar and vanilla together. We've got our flour mixed together. Now let's measure our nuts. We need about a cup of nuts. Again, I'm using walnuts that have already been chopped. You can use pecans in this recipe if you like, those are the two nuts I recommend. So I'm going to get this and I'm going to use quite a full cup of nuts. So you're going to slowly add your flour, I'm just going to add a little bit of flour to the bowl to start with and you can add a little bit more as it goes on. You don't want to dump the entire thing of flour in there because it's going to go flying. So raise your bowl, lock it in, start it on low, let all of that incorporate in, as it starts to incorporate in, you can add a little more flour. Just do it slowly. Let it incorporate and then you can add a little bit more. This seems like it's a really dry dough but the butter will be the moisture in the dough. Okay, it's really incorporating well so now I can finish off the rest of that flour and I'm going to add the nuts in and the nuts you can just pour in. So now I can turn this up just a little bit and it's becoming sandy and then it will become clumpy and then you'll kind of get it coming into a ball. At that point, stop the mix master, take it down, and you have this. "
