"Hi! I'm Stephanie Barnett. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to show you how to make this gorgeous Christmas table for your Christmas dinner. Now I want you to think about what is going to be in the center of your table. Are you going to have a buffet dinner, or are you going to have a family style dinner? Are all the dishes of the food going to be on the table? If they are, you have to keep your centerpiece very minimal. You'll need all that room for the dishes. If it's going to be a sit down dinner where courses are served or a buffet dinner, you need to have a festive centerpiece. Is it going to include flowers? If so, how will they coordinate with your table linens? Also, a great way to decorate your centerpiece is just like you decorate your home. Go around and look and find little ornaments, statues, or little bottle brush trees. These are snowman candles, a nutcracker. Just look around your house and see what you have available. Then fill in the holes with what your shopping that you're going to do. Really think about do I want it to be elegant? Do I want it to be child like? How do you want your Christmas centerpiece to look?"
