"Hi! I'm Stephanie Barnett. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to show you how to make this gorgeous Christmas table for your Christmas dinner. We're going to talk about plates, glasses, and silverware. You need to decide who is this table for. Is this the children's table? Is this the adult table? If it were the children's table, a plate like this might be really appropriate, but in an adult table, I don't think so. I raid my cupboard, which I want you to do, and look and see what kind of plates you have. I have some black plates, but to me that doesn't say Christmas. I have come clear glass plates, which are okay, but they're not quite fancy enough. I do have these great transfer print plates, which I think are very festive. Even though they're black and white, the scenes are so dramatic and so lovely, that I am going to use these plates on my Christmas table. I want you to think about glassware. What color glassware do you have? I have green glassware. I have tan glassware. I have glassware with embellishments. What do I feel is the best to go with my table? Then I also want you to think about silverware. I have several sets of silverware. I have one with a bamboo handle. I have one with a almost holly like handy. I think this is going to be my choice for this Christmas table. I want you to think about your silverware. If you don't have multiple plates and silverware, go to your local antique stores or flea markets and find some really interesting patterns and old silverware and plates to decorate your holiday table with."
