Alright so now we're getting close to our color that were going for, for our blood. And this is interesting to compare the color we have over here to what traditionally comes in a lot of make ups that they sell in the stores. The make ups that you get in the stores will be much, much brighter red, we're talking primary color red. While what you're going to get out of corn syrup by combining the red and the blue is a much more realistic pigment of how actual blood is. Furthermore a lot of this make up is very pastey. It's meant not to run much. While with the corn syrup version of blood you're going to get that runny gooey effect. Interestingly enough, this is not how corn syrup blood was not always made. Back in the days before movies were even in color, back then the best color that showed up was dark brown but of course that looked absolutely fake after movies moved to color. If you ever see anybody at a party who is wearing lot's of brown obviously their from a horror film back from the black and white era. But being in color we're going to want to actually make sure that our blood is nice and red with a dash of blue to give it a realistic effect and beat the pants off of most make up that you're going to get in the stores.
