"Hello I'm Matt Cail on behalf of Expert Village. I'm here today to show you how to make fake blood and other horror props. Alright, so let's start mixing up some blood but before we can get started we need to go over a couple of basic items that we're going to need throughout our mixing process. First off, have a brush. This can be pretty much any type of brush either you have around the house or a painting brush, make up brush. Just keep in mind 2 things. First off, there cannot be any type of toxic or abrasive substance on the brush. You can be applying this to a face or an article of clothing that somebody's wearing. So it's been in the turpentine. Don't use it on your face next. We're also going to need the staple of our blood, the blood of our blood, corn syrup. You can get corn syrup of various varieties at most local grocery stores. I prefer the light color. There's also dark color, dark color ends up with too much contrasting blood so I recommend the light. You'll get more vibrant bright colors. It will look better against fabric when you mix. Of course you need something else to mix in cause were going to keep some of the corn syrup. We will not be using it all, unless your going to have an army of zombies. So you need a good basic jar. Take a pasta jar, rip off the labeling and you're good to go. An optional item is going to be some cocoa powder. You can use this or also getting some milk on the side too. Which we are also going to use for a blood effect later on. And lastly, one of the most important things is food coloring. You're going to at least need red and blue to get started with the blood mixing."
