"Hi! I'm Matt Cail on behalf of Expert Village. I am here today to tell you how to set up and play bobbing for apples. While bobbing for apples, is a really fun Halloween activity, it can also have its share of frustration and this is because a lot of people don't know how to to do it. Exactly how often do you bob for apples? Probably not very often. How you can better and more easily grip apples and this is the first thing is to keep mine as teeth. The biggest reason why people have problems bobbing for apples is because they let their lips get in the way. Before you even bob for apples, you should have your teeth totally bare. You are going down there looking like a carnivore about to rip into some piece of lamb. You should not have your lips or be tentatively doing it. You should have your teeth out. Your teeth are out and ready to go. The other thing is your trajectory. A lot of times will come in more of a horizontal or 45 degree angle. That doesn't allow for a maximum of velocity or energy going into the apple. Try to keep your lunge downward again with your teeth bared as vertical as possible. This will allow you to get purchase on the apple more easily and you won't be nudging the apple away from you. The way that gravity works is the apple will much more easily to push away from you than it will be to go down beneath the surface of the water. "
