"Hi! I'm Matt Cail on behalf of Expert Village. I'm here today to tell you how to set up and play bobbing for apples. In addition to making sure the contestants are properly positioned, there are a couple of other tactics which are questionable. Other people would call them cheats. So we are going to cover these very common cheats to make sure that nobody is spoiling the fun in making this here totally easy, what's the big deal. The first one of these is using your head to trap an apple to the side of the tub. That is a big no no. You are supposed to be going down free standing in the water and grabbing an apple in your mouth. You are not supposed to be corralling and trapping an apple against the side of the tub and then using that to gain purchase on the apple. So that's a no no. Another common cheat that people do is when they come up right away with the apple stem in their teeth. That's not the point of the game and you are not supposed to grab the apple stem and you are supposed to grab on the meat of the apple. An easy way to get around this is to make sure you flip the stems off. I've also seen other people put the apple in there upside down so that it will keep it where the stem is not up there and tempted for people to cheat. "
