"Hi! I'm Matt Cail on behalf of Expert Village. I am here today to tell you how to set up and play bobbing for apples. All right it's already ready, there is no loose articles of clothing. He is ready to dive in literally. There are a couple of things to go over in terms of how he will be positioned. First off for people who are playing, they are seated on top and their knees are on the ground. This is important that there knees are not allowed to leave the ground. Some people put pillows on the ground to make it so that if you have a harder floor that it is gentler on their knees but their knees should be on the ground. You don't want people standing and bending over and that results in back pain. It can also increase the risk of water going up your nose or even problem breathing. So you keep your knees on the ground, the contestant will lean forward and place their hands on the side of the tub and at this point they can lean forward as far as they want. There is no limit as to how far they can go. I've seen people go as deep as touching the bottom of the tub even. It's to each or her own. There is no rule for or against it just as long as their knees are touching the ground. That is one limitation that you have. "
