"Hi! I'm Matt Cail on behalf of Expert Village. I am here to tell you how to set up and play bobbing for apples. All right so we have our first contestant ready to bob for apples but before we let him bob for apples, there are a couple of other things to keep in mind. First off there shouldn't be any floating accessories that can easily fall off or otherwise you would not want to get wet. Jackets, necklaces, let's say you have a wrist watch on, a cell phone in an upper pocket. All those items could very easily get dumped into the water and be ruined, stained, water logged. Otherwise not make for a very happy contestant. In addition, you are probably going to be at a Halloween party and there are going to be costumes on so it's not just the normal clothing accessories, so what about the costume. If there is a cowboy who has a cowboy hat, may want to take off the hat. If there is a gypsy girl with tons of bracelets and necklaces, she may want to take off some of the longer ones that are going to drape down into the water. So really look for people that are going to have articles that could easily fall off especially if there is a lot of up and down motion and you don't want to be going into the water because that will potentially ruin those articles, put a damper on their costumes and make for an unpleasant evening.
