Summary: Learn how to add a medallion and gloves for vampire Halloween costumes in this free Halloween costume video.
"Hi! I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here today to show you how to make a vampire costume. Now we're going to move around to so sort of perfervid clothing, optional clothing, and some of other accessories. This is going to start with gloves. Gloves are another one of those bygone things thing that people used to wear, especially when they went out on a nice night on the town to opera or a particular play. Dracula is nothing but an elegant gentleman, as are the other classic vampires, so they wear gloves. Again, you may already have a pair of these. Why would you have a pair of these? Well, if you're involved in any dramatic productions or you have someone in the family who is, they have a pair of white gloves. I do suggest white gloves because they are kind of emphasizing the fact that your hands are dead that'll also match your face. They're another exposed skin area, which will be covered, so we don't have to worry about them with makeup for the classic vampire look. Your black sleeve is going to come right up there, so you're not going to see any flesh colored skin. You'll essentially be remaining in black and white. The other thing to add on is a medallion. This is something Dracula is popular in wearing. He after all was Romanian nobleman according to legend and some history too. You want to make sure and have a medallion, which you're going to put over the neck and it's going to hang down between your cape and vest. It'll add a nice little spot of color and have a slight mesmerizing quality."
