"Hi, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here today to show you how to make a vampire costume. So here is the start of our vampire. You can see the make-up we have applied. Again using the colors of white, black and red primarily although there are a couple hints of green throughout as well but it is very subdued. White, black and red will be able to get you there. It's pretty easy to apply the make-up. Basically adding more bat like wings around the eyebrow area, shading the eyes, the laugh lines, the lips, the cleft of the chin and also slight shading on the sides of the face with a little bit of red smeared in. You can add in bite marks. You can see here on the side. Which also for additional affect perhaps this person just became a vampire tonight. In addition you are just going for a generally paler affect. The white should be pretty uniform but not as thick as a clown. This is the base on which we are gonna build. We are essentially going to build the rest of the costume around the make-up. The costume will only be as good as the make-up is cause that is what people are going to look at. Just like even if you are wearing nice clothes they're still going to be paying attention to your face and seeing if you haven't shaved tonight. They're also going to be paying attention to the make-up. So this is the first step. Make sure to pay a lot of attention to it and take your time. "
