"Hey. Hi. How are you? I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here today to show you how to throw Halloween parties for adults. The next party task is to find some good scary or horror movies. Now this could be somewhat controversial because people would point out well I'm having a Halloween party not a movie party and movies can tend to distract if I have them on the television. That is true the last thing you want are your guest sitting on your chairs with a zooming out watching the latest terrifying flick the first of 3 or 4 that you have picked out for the party. You want people mingling in action, moving around, having a good time. With that said movies can provide some of the easiest automatic atmosphere builders. You want to kind of have more creepy settings or a set a mood. Have a really scary movie playing on television and that would get you there. But how to address the other concerns about people sort of stopping and turning into tv zombies at your party. There is one way to handle this is just by mute your television to have no sound on at all. People will notice the picture which after all is the most noticeable thing about television. But if you don't have the volume going on they won't be inclined to become trapped by the television, held hostage if you will to the latest horror movie that you are showing. There you would enjoy the good atmosphere and while lowering the risk of interrupting any type of party flows. "
