"Hi, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to setup a haunted house. After you assigned your actors, you also have to kind of consider well who are the actors of your house. If you have a lot of demand man, then you have that is great, you can even do auditions, have people try out. If your kind of begging around from some people, you take what you can get. But definitely who ever is acting at your house, there are a couple of things you need to do to get them ready. First off, make sure that they are in costumes. This is such an obvious thing yet I see it every year where a couple of houses where there actors are wearing plain clothes who showed up late and didn't have enough time or didn't even have an idea of what their costume was going to be. Nothing ruins the vibe of a haunted house more than just seeing people who are dressed, like the people going through it. This is bad, make sure they are in costume. The other thing is to make sure they kind of practiced there scene as they are going to be a basic skit for their room. A basic interaction they are going to go for, where as the scare or the eeriness is going to come in. A lot of people just say "oh, dude I'm cool don't worry about it". No, no, no at least have them go through it once with you watching or even better yet, a test group and see how it goes. This will help refine their performance and avoid people just flaying outward in front of people, and think they are being scary and everyone going through it thinking it is very lame."
