Summary: Learn how to pick gloves for a Halloween scarecrow costume in this free Halloween costume video.
"Hi, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to show you how to make a scarecrow costume. One of the last things to over up for our scarecrow are the hands. Now scarecrows usually don't have hands. So often times you will see authentic scarecrows have gloves or some sort of make shift hands that are farmers made. Our scarecrow's no exception. So we are going to be putting gloves on their hands. This is going to do a couple of things. First off this going to save us from having to put orange makeup or brown makeup or do something else crazy with our hands. Our hands can be gloved throughout the evening. I recommend you can usually use most forms of gloves. I recommend trying to avoid super thick ones. Otherwise your hands are going to be really hot and sweaty all night long. If you think kind of a thinner glove that would be great. At the same time you don't necessarily want dress gloves. That's too thin. There should be heft. There should be some resilience like a gardening gloves are some of the best gloves you can get. They are both resilient and thick but they are also not too hot. They are certainly less hot than gloves you would wear out into the snow. So all those glove options can work for your scarecrow and basically they will get you there when it comes to the scarecrow hands."
