Straw Hats for a Halloween Scarecrow Costume

"Hi, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to show you how to make a scarecrow costume. Of course your scarecrow is going to need a hat. And here is an opportunity where you can be a little creative. Now traditionally people often times think of straw or straw hats when they're thinking of scarecrows. But really there is no one set parameter here. I have seen scarecrows that are wearing tin hats, ball caps, even fireman firefighter hats. But the one thing to keep in mind is to make sure that you are not going too far outside of your genera. You don't want people getting stumped on your hat. It's a very noticeable part of your costume. You don't want them seeing eight tenths of a scarecrow and then seeing something else throwing them off going what exactly are they? Are they a scarecrow? It's kind of a weird one. You don't want to have that. But at the same time you don't have to just have a straw hat. It's a good staple hat if you are going to be a little conservative, because people think of straw hats when they think of scarecrows. Straw is what scarecrows are stuffed with after all. But don't close yourself off to other opportunities. Like you could do a fedora or a ball cap could also work for your scarecrow."
