Summary: Learn how to style your hair for a princess Halloween costume in this free how-to video.
"Hi, my name is Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to show you how to make a princess costume. With our wardrobe settled lets move on to getting our person ready to be a princess. We are going to start with the hair. Now a lot of people will have princess costumes where they have their hair down. That works, that's fine. And certainly I have seen dresses where it works particularly well especially if you are going for more of a Rupunzel look. You are not going to have your hair up if you are that particular princess. But for our princess we are again going to go for more of a regal air. For this we are not going to have the hair down like this. There is something I don't know, it is hard to kind of appear kind of appear at all imperious or somebody who is really important or at least who is going to be some day with your hair down. It is even less of an option if your particular dress happens to have any type kind of like neck bracing or decor. Your hair is kind of going to go down and then billow up over it. And that is not going to look good. So we are going to put our hair up for our princess costume. This is going to do a couple of things. I mean first off, necks are very nice looking. And whenever you usually see drawings or pictures of princesses they usually have or are presented having very beautiful necks. So let’s show off the neck a bit here. We are going to have our hair up to the point where the neck is going to be exposed and the hair is going to be up off of the shoulders. So this is important, it is also going to help us attach head pieces later on for our princess look."
