Tips for Finding a Princess Costume

"Hi, my name is Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to show you how to make a princess costume. So what exactly is our princess going to wear? What do princesses wear for that matter? Like a lot of other genres of costumes, things like vampires or witches there is a lot that you can do with at princess costume. So deciding on what exactly to wear to kind of go and kind of give a princess feel can be more difficult than it sounds. It goes beyond just getting a dress. What you want, you want clothes with a regal air. Something that looks as if you are wearing that people would definitely kneel down before you and pay homage to you as their royal sovereign. Where can you find things like this? Well surprisingly before you go out anywhere, you are going to check your own wardrobe. You may have several items of clothing in there. Be it is something you can work with. Something like a hat or of course the big piece, the dress that may work very well with your princess costume. So check your wardrobe first to make sure and eliminate everything that you already have and kind of see where the gaps are. Next you are going to go out to a thrift store. Thrift stores have all sorts of types of dresses and some of them may be they may work for your purposes even if they require some alterations. If that doesn't work you may go to either a costume store or beyond that even like a special more formal store but make sure not to get roped into buying a brand new dress you don't want that for Halloween.
