Summary: Learn about watching parades on Thanksgiving Day, a traditional activity, in this free video with Thanksgiving ideas for kids and parents.
"Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to tell you all about Thanksgiving games and activities. Another common activity on Thanksgiving is watching the big parades that take place that day. Nowadays there are just tons of big ones on TV which a lot of them have familiar parade floats which float through the air year after year, a lot of the times they're the same floats even or done up a little differently. There's a cool game you can play related to watching the parade. And that is Guess the Parade Floats. While, the way the game works is everyone will make a guess of what the next parade float will be and there are different ways you can do your guess. The broadest way is saying color. The next float is going to be red. And then you know hey, it's a big red dog. Well there you go, then you get a point. Now say what if you actually were to even, you know, not only to say the next float is going to be brown which this would be, but say the next float is going to be a big turkey and it's a big turkey, that would be worth five points. Basically the more accurate you are, the more points you get, you keep a little tally on a little sheet or other piece of paper so then you can see by the end of the parade who had the most correct guesses on what was going to be coming next in the parade."
