Summary: Learn how to play Popcorn Convoy, a fun Thanksgiving Day game, in this free video with Thanksgiving activities for kids and parents.
"Hello, I'm Matt Cail, and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to tell you all about Thanksgiving games and activities. Alright, next game is Popcorn Convoy. The way the game is played is you're going to need four bowls, a couple cups and of course popcorn. It can be whatever kind of popcorn. I don't recommend getting super expensive gourmet popcorn because you may or may not eat all of this popcorn so that's a, that's direct get off the bat. So the way this game is played is you set the bowls next to each other at some pre-determined distance. I've see it as little as ten feet, I've seen it up to a hundred feet actually. I personally think fifteen to twenty feet is good if you're playing this indoors. If you're playing it outdoors, then maybe you can go a longer distance. You're going to have people running. And basically what it is, people will take the cup, they go to the starter bowl and they'll put a certain amount of popcorn in it. Sometimes people fill it up, sometimes people basically say you can take so many pieces of popcorn, like you know, say three or five. So they'll take their three, their pieces of popcorn, they'll drop them in the cup and they'll rush as quickly as they can over to the other bowl and then they'll drop it into this bowl and then go back and repeat and they'll keep convoying the popcorn between the bowls. At the same time while team one is doing this, you also have team two who is doing the same thing and of course whoever finishes first, wins."
