"Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to tell you all about Thanksgiving games and activities. The next game I'm going to tell you about is called pumpkin roll, the big pumpkin roll. What you are going to need with this is some good weather, at least not raining. Again, you are going to need a relatively flat backyard or at least probably, I'd say, thirty to fifty feet of flat, relatively flat yard that we are going to be rolling our pumpkins on. The way the game is played is that you have your contestants have a starting and a finishing line that they have. Each of them have a pumpkin and the pumpkin's in front of them and they are ready to go. There are two ways to roll the pumpkin. For older players basically you have a couple of sticks, pine cones, whatever you want to kind of guide and then roll the pumpkin along. So, that's what you are going to be doing on that. So make longer sticks if you don't want to be bending over, it really kind of depends on the person. If you have a small child that might be a little challenging for them so just let them use their hands and push it and roll it around. Basically you are going to roll this from the starting to the finish line and whoever can get their pumpkin there the fastest wins."
